The California Municipal Bond Advisor recently celebrated its 25th year anniversary in 2009. We serve investors who buy, trade (and sometimes even sell) California municipal bonds. Individual investors and bigger institutional buyers, including mutual funds and money managers, benefit from our insight.

In early 2011 we are providing enhancements to this site to benefit existing subscribers only. Some people who placed orders through PayPal recently didn't have their orders or payments processed due to a glitch at our end. (Anyone who had this happen is being contacted with correspondence during the week of Jan. 31, 2011.) As of January 31, 2011, the PayPal link is back up and we'll ensure that new orders are processed in time to begin getting the upcoming February print edition.

We are unique in that we provide independent analysis of this market. We are not beholden to any participants in the municipal bond market. That doesn't mean we have an antagonistic relationship with various players who assemble municipal bond sales. However, underwriters, bond lawyers, and various market participants have to balance relationships that include ties to issuers and others. Our sole concern rests with investors, and we have a long history of meeting the needs of mom-and-pop bond buyers and big institutional players alike.

A one-year subscription (12 issues) to the print newsletter entitles you to a subscription to the monthly print newsletter. We also will add other helpful content for subscribers after our new format is unveiled in February 2011. We may add a fee in the future for certain subscriber-only Web updates on this site.
